Robert Warren Dash was an impressionist painter whose work is featured in collections at the Modern Art Museum in Munich, the Guggenheim Museum, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Philadelphia Museum of Fine Arts, and the Corcoran Gallery. Hoglund studied at The Stockholm School of Art, Craft and Design from 1948-53 and went on to revolutionize the art of Swedish Glass. Between 1953 through 1973 he collaborated with Boda Glasswork and continued to partner with other artists thereafter. In the late 1970s, he began teaching at the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle and lecturing across the United States.
